Location: Bamboo Rustles. Near Krishnagiri

This December, we invite you to the scrub forest of Melagiri hills to learn about the basics of herpetology and go looking for snakes and chameleons. Recently there have been various spottings and we want to share these experiences with those interested in herping.

This is what our camp plan looks like:

We start with a simple lunch and then have a session in the afternoon with herpetologists Sanjeev Pedneker and Sandeep G.
In the night, you go for a walk and a jeep safari looking for snakes and chameleons.

Tented accommodation on twin sharing basis with 3 simple meals and tea. Bonfire in the night in middle of a country side where we go exploring under a starlit sky.

Approx 2 1/2 hours from Bangalore - after Hosur and before Krishnagiri
